Dance Class Picture Night

Chloe had dance class photos taken last Thursday night, and they wore their recital costumes. She was the last one to have her individual picture taken, and by then she was pretty tired and cranky. Luckily I took a few pics of my own beforehand:

Visiting Grandma Katie

My grandma Katie has been in the hospital since last Tuesday with cellulitis. We have been up to visit a few times, and once I had my camera with me (yeah, me!). To stave off Chloe's boredom, I made her some fingernails out of surgical tape, and she was excited to look like a little witch! She then decided to feed her baby doll, and sat down to breastfeed her. It was too precious.

More Messy Mornings!

We have more Messy Mornings pictures from last week! Yes, that is shaving cream Chloe is playing with, and yes, it's very messy. Along with Krista and her kids, Amber and her little boy, Max, met us there, and then we went to the park afterwards. I got some great pics of Sylvie out in the sun. Check 'em out:

Messy Mornings!

My friend, Krista, introduced me to Messy Mornings at the Hearst Center for the Arts in Cedar Falls. It's a program on Wednesdays for kids to do fun, messy crafts without destroying their own homes. It's awesome. Here are some pics from last week's MM (I haven't uploaded this week's MM pics yet):

Chloe's First Dentist Appointment

Chloe had her first dentist appointment today, and she loved it! I took her to my dentist, who is awesome, and things went really well. Check out these pics:

Such a beautiful smile!

Sylvie's birthday gathering at the park!

We took the girls to George Wyth State Park on Sunday for Sylvie's birthday celebration. Sylvie's not able to eat cake yet, but we did let her squish some cake around in her hand and she seemed to like that. Who wouldn't?

Here are some of my favorite pics:

Happy Birthday to Sylvie!

Happy birthday to my baby! It's been quite a year for us all, and we're so lucky and blessed to have this milestone to celebrate!

Here's a look at Sylvie's first year...
